WHY LOGIX GURU – QA/TESTING

Founded in 1969, aSa is a world leader in providing specialty software solutions for the concrete reinforcing steel industry. Until recently, all of our software development and quality assurance (QA) testing were done in-house. We were very reluctant to use outside services, especially off-shore because of the time differences and the possible language and cultural issues. However, a few years ago when we needed additional resources for out QA testing. We considered hiring more staff, but instead decided to work with Logix Guru. Through one of their business partners, they helped us augment our in-house QA talent. One might assume that this option was selected purely for its cost benefits.  While that was a consideration, the primary reasons for us choosing Logix Guru were their professional expertise, depth of resources, ramp-up time, and local presence. I was pleasantly surprised about the smooth transition and the skill level of their consultants. In fact, our own QA staff has learned from them which has helped us to improve our testing methodology. I would not hesitate to recommend Logix Guru!

Logix Guru provided quality offshore QA services for EBenefits Solutions, a division of UPMC, for over a year. Our web based application was fully scripted for over 1000 test cases and executed on a daily basis, providing us immediate insight to errors caused by code changes or bad data. Logix Guru also provided manual testing services, building and executing test plans for all our enhancements and new features. I found them to be very easy to work with and always prepared for our weekly planning meetings and would recommend them to anyone looking for QA services.

We have been able to expand our QA efforts without adding additional headcount.  We just started to tap the expertise of the Logix Guru group on how we can expand our Automated Testing efforts and it's great to have an "expert" that has experience with different Automated Testing solutions help to guide us on direction.  Also by working with Logix Guru we found holes in our internal testing strategy that we were able to address.  Overall it has been a positive experience.
